Fifth Grade

Ms. Boller

Ms. Boller is a graduate of Stevenson University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in elementary education. She is in the process of obtaining her Master’s degree in S.T.E.M. education from UMBC. She really loves teaching fifth grade and exploring with her students. She feels that Hampton is like a second home for her and loves the school community. In her free time, Ms. Boller enjoys spending time with her dogs and family, fitness, and cooking new recipes! 

Mr. Carp

Mr. Carp graduated from York College in Pennsylvania with a degree in elementary education. He has taught in Baltimore County for twenty years with experiences in third and fifth grade. Teaching at Hampton will be like visiting an old home because he lived in the Towson area years ago with many fond memories. Mr. Carp enjoys exercising, reading, studying history, fishing, and watching his beloved Maryland Terrapins, Orioles, and Ravens. He is excited to join the staff at Hampton Elementary School!

Mrs. Chang

Cheryl Chang is beginning her second year as a part-time fifth grade teacher at Hampton Elementary. She is a career changer and is very pleased to have found her true passion: teaching! Cheryl realized that she wanted to work with children all of the time after spending countless hours volunteering and helping at her childrens’ elementary school. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Additional degrees include a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University. She enjoys engaging her fifth grade students in both writing exercises and small group discussion which enables them to grow as they head toward middle school. Outside of teaching, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, writing, reading, baking, and exercising outdoors.

Mrs. Dusza

Mrs. Dusza is in her ninth year in education!  She is a graduate of Towson University with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to becoming a teacher, Mrs. Dusza was a nurse.  She found her passion to be with teaching her patients and decided to pursue her education degree.  Her education career began in Baltimore County at Perry Hall Elementary and then she transferred to Glyndon Elementary.  This is her third year at Hampton Elementary, where she is a part-time teacher.  She has taught second, third, fourth and fifth grades.  In her free time, Mrs, Dusza enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and two children, baking, decorating cakes, exercise and photography. 

Mrs. Williams

Mrs. Williams earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University, after discovering her passion for teaching as a long term substitute at Lutherville Laboratory.  She spent the summer teaching math in the summer school program at the Baltimore Lab School.  When Mrs. Williams is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, reading, playing board or card games, swimming, and walking with friends.  Mrs. Williams is an ardent supporter of the Orioles.
