Special Education

Mrs. Allen (resource)

Hi, my name is Jill Allen.  My primary role at Hampton is to work with children who receive special education services.  I have been in this position at Hampton for four years.  Prior to working at Hampton I was the special educator at Jacksonville Elementary School.  I have been a special education teacher for 28 years.

My education began in New York at S.U.N.Y. Brockport where I earned my Bachelors in Elementary Education.  Upon moving to Maryland I earned my Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.  I also certified as a Reading teacher.

When I am not working at Hampton I enjoy visiting my mom in upstate New York and taking long walks with my dog.
