Mrs. Dyer (Counselor)

Mrs. Dyer has been the counselor at Hampton Elementary School since 2002. She is a graduate of Salisbury (State) University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and a graduate of Loyola University with a Masters of Education Specializing in School Counseling. In her free time, Mrs. Dyer enjoys reading, running and  spending time with her husband and two daughters Hayley and Hannah.


Mrs. Frijia (ELL)

Mrs. Frijia has been enjoying teaching elementary English Language Learners from countries all over the world in several BCPS schools for 12 years.  She has a Master’s degree in TESOL from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland as well as a Master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Maryland.  Prior to teaching, Mrs. Frijia worked in a variety of social work settings in both Harford County and Baltimore County.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, traveling, reading, and creating crafts.   


Mrs. Hudson (S. T. A. T.)

Mrs. Hudson has been teaching for 14 years, 5 years in second grade and 9 years in third grade. She has a master’s degree in education, is nationally board certified, and is currently working on a master’s in counseling. She decided that she wanted to be a teacher when she was in high school.  She did well in math, and enjoyed helping her sister with math problems.  Now she loves thinking of creative ways to make learning fun!   In her free time, she enjoys reading Harry Potter books and the Twilight series.  Witches, wizards, and vampires are very interesting. She also spends time with her family and friends, traveling with her husband, exercising, cooking, and playing with her son and dog! 

 

Ms. Yarrison (Consulting Teacher)

Ms. Yarrison is in her 25th year with Baltimore County Public Schools. She graduated with an undergraduate degree and a Master’s degree from Towson University. Ms. Yarrison has also been Nationally Board Certified in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Yarrison has taught third grade for BCPS, and has also worked as a Site Based Mentor, an Instructional Coach, a Cluster Based Mentor and is currently a Consulting Teacher. Ms. Yarrison is assigned to Hampton Elementary as a Consulting Teacher but travels to other schools to support new teachers in their first year. Ms. Yarrison is an avid gardener and enjoys Civil War reenacting and photography.
