Second Grade

Mrs. Dausey

Mrs. Dausey is in her 9th year of teaching.  She is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in education.  She holds a certification in early childhood and minor in special education.  She is also a graduate of Towson University with a Master’s degree in Reading Education.  She began teaching in Pittsburgh and moved to Baltimore to teach at Hampton Elementary.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exercising, shopping, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband, dog Bailey, family and friends.   

Mrs. Millhausen

Mrs. Millhausen is in her 28th year in education!   She is a graduate of Towson State University with a Master’s degree in early childhood education.  Her career began as the director of a preschool and daycare center where she taught kindergarten.  She taught second grade at Hampton for twelve years.  Currently, she is back to teaching kindergarten.  In her free time, Mrs. Millhausen enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark and three sons Jon, Jake, and Max. She enjoys reading, gardening, swimming, hiking, skiing, and spending time at the beach with her family.


Mrs. Pawliske

Mrs. Pawliske is in her 19th year teaching.  She has spent most of her time in first and second grades, but also taught third grade for a year and served as a Gifted and Talented resource teacher.  She is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and she holds a Master’s degree in Leadership in Teaching from Notre Dame of Maryland University.  Mrs. Pawliske taught in three Baltimore County Public Schools:  Summit Park Elementary, Franklin Elementary, and now Hampton.   She is happiest when working on a big project with the students in her classroom.  In her free time, Mrs. Pawliske enjoys spending time with her family.  Together, they love to read, travel, camp, snowboard/ski, crab, and have movie night.

Mrs. Vickers

Ms. Vickers is in her fifteenth year in education! She is a graduate of Frostburg State University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in education with a focus on mathematics. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel University. Her career began in Charles County at Mt. Hope Elementary school. After four years she transferred to BCPS as a third grade teacher at Hampton. She has taught third grade for twelve years and this is her fourth year teaching second grade. In her free time, Ms. Vickers enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters Addison and Avery, reading, hiking, and swimming.

Mrs. Wagner

Mrs. Wagner is in her 10th year of teaching.  She is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park and Towson University with a Master’s degree in early childhood education.  For the last nine years, Mrs. Wagner taught at Hunts Church Preschool.  Both of her sons, Ethan and Eric, were fortunate enough to attend Hampton.  On the weekends you can find her hiking, walking or jogging through Loch Raven Reservoir.  She enjoys taking active vacations with her husband Jeff and their two sons.
